Pivot glasses manufactured by Magpul combine high-quality materials and superb protection with a cas ual style and inconspicuous looks. The design integrates unobtrusive temples with a low-key frame an d impact-resistant lenses for a perfect blend of looks and eye protection. Pivots are best suited fo r small to medium-sized faces. Reinforced frames and temples are injection molded from TR90NZZ th ermoplastic and anatomically shaped for improved comfort during everyday usage. The utilized materia l makes them lightweight yet exceptionally durable. Additional rubber elements on the nose and templ e sections substantially increase the wearing comfort. The lenses are extruded, cut, and heat for med from shatterproof polycarbonate. The glasses are then polarized and layered in a scratch-resista nt and anti-reflection hard coating for increased resistance to grazing and surface damage. Addition al oleophobic treatment guarantees liquid and chemical protection. While the lenses are not Z87.1-ra ted due to their wrap and shape, they are still manufactured from the same shatterproof polycarbonat e. They provide 100% UVA and UVB protection with distortionless clarity. The bronze-tinted lens with a blue mirror grant optimal light transmission, absorbs colors equally for proper hue perception an d nullifies reflections.
