The Hydra mount was created explicitly for smoother and faster aiming with gas masks, headsets, or NVGs. This mount has an optical centerline for faster target identification, regardless of any equipment that would interfere with aiming down the sights (with the Hydra, you gain 6cm in height). It also speeds up transitions from low/high ready position to engaging targets. The product is CNC machined from metal and was designed specifically for T1 and T2 (the Aimpoint Micro Red Dot Sight), RD-1, RD-2, Aimpoint, and Romeo5 dot sights. It is also compatible with optics from other brands like Sig Sauer, Holosun, Primary Arms, and Vortex Optics. The item incorporates the forward-placed, 6-slot Picatinny rail that attaches laser sights and light amplification modules.
